Slow Mo

Brayden is not in a hurry and I have never had such intense back pain. A week ago when the doc asked me "was I so miserable that I was ready to induce", I said "No. Uncomfortable, but not absolutely, hands-down miserable." Today I am!!! I cannot take a step without a pain shooting up my back. I swear Tylenol does not do a thing, but I am taking it every four hours, in HOPES that it will alleviate SOME of the intensity. I tried sleeping in the recliner last night---that lasted about 30 minutes. I had to get up every couple of minutes to use the restroom and the darn chair would practically snap shut, leaving my back in more pain and catapulting me into an upright position. A good idea, but no go. So, back to the roll-in, roll-out routine of getting into and out of the bed. I am grateful to have had a really easy, pleasant pregnancy, but "Rent's up Brayden! Time to enter the real world!" My mom is coming on Saturday, so that will be perfect for either a weekend delivery or a Monday induction. In the meantime, I wait and make myself busy.

Love the blog! Thanks for sending me the link! Hang in there! Reece was a week late (I wasn't even dilated yet!!) before they induced and I remember being so disappointed when her due date came and went! I can't wait to hear about Brayden's arrival! We'll have a new baby in our house at the end of November, too! The doctor thinks this is another little girl--if he's right, Brayden can now have his pick of a younger or older Culbertson girl! :)
