We cannot believe our baby boy is a toddler!!! We celebrated Brayden's 1st birthday on Saturday, June 5 with family and close friends. I was especially delighted that my family traveled to be here from Florida (minus both brothers) and could share in the fun. The cake episode was of course, enjoyable, but we concluded that Brayden does not prefer to have sticky things on his hands. Instead of diving into the cake and pursuing a sugar high, he was a bit distracted by trying to shake the icing off of his hands. All of this led to much frustration and an eventual wiping of the face and ears, which is how they, in turn, became bright red with icing! It was a great day. Thanks to all who came to celebrate with us!
