All Clear!

It's kind of crazy that I haven't written in 2 1/2 months and in the past 2 days, I have written 3 times. Oh well. Brayden did great! He did scream and cry and of course, this broke my heart, but my fear was that he would squirm and be so restless and agitated that it would require sedation and we would have to cancel the appointment and reschedule. This did not happen. He was clearly annoyed by the head vice/mechanism that restricted movement, but for the most part, he was simply scared! Chris had to take over because all I wanted to do was comfort him. The technician ran the scan twice and once the machine began to move, Brayden calmed down--such an answer to prayer. I think he was mesmerized by the sound and movement of the machine. When it was over, we were released to leave, which was the "all clear" that nothing life-threatening was identified and we could go home. On the drive, however, the technician called Chris to tell him 'off the record' that the radiologist found NO SIGN OF FLUID on the brain, and furthermore, his brain measurements were "well within the normal limits for a child his age." Praise Jesus! We are so grateful! So, just as we suspected, Brayden has a big head, and there is NO WAY he is experiencing gross motor delay; he simply hasn't started to pull up on furniture yet. He will! Thanks for your prayers and well wishes! Love to all!
