Tonight we took a late trip back to Home Depot. I have been obsessing over paint colors and decor decisions for sweet Neely's nursery and this made the 3rd trip to HD in 2 days! We left the house at 5:30 and had 3 errands to run. I planned to run in HD, purchase sample cans of two colors of pink: one very pale, and the other, a brighter, cheerier pink, run in Target (what's a trip without swinging by Target), and lastly, I promised Brayden McDonald's for dinner (healthy I know!). As I am carrying Brayden through the automatic doors at HD I suddenly realize I never changed my shoes...I am wearing my house shoes!!!!! Ok, sure, high schoolers do this everyday and even worse, if allowed, wear pajama pants to class. BUT I'M NOT A HIGH SCHOOLER!!! and I cannot stand to see people in their "house garb" at the store. Surely I needed to visit Wal-Mart so I could feel that I fit in. O well...I did my errands in my house shoes with people occasionally staring at my feet. What do you do? Take a picture and laugh at yourself! I've had much worse embarrassing moments...all centered around pregnancy! :)
