What a cutie!
Just happy to be here...Brayden has made Momma proud! He is a definite beach bum. Though we introduced B to the sand and water in early April at Pensacola Beach, the day was windy and somewhat chilly. He didn't protest but he didn't relish in the experience either. This week, we are on vacation in Hilton Head, one of our very favorite places, and he has proved himself to withstand hours of sun and able to digest handfulls of sand! He is also such an extrovert that just like a friendly dog, he has taken off a few times to visit others on the beach, requiring us to go running after him. It is at this point that we are thankful he is not walking yet :). So far, we are having a great time---a much different trip from last year, when we thought it would be a good idea to "escape" and come to the beach when he was a mere 3 WEEKS OLD!!! WHAT WERE WE THINKING?? Oh, the difference a year makes.
First day--after a long walk in the stroller earlier that morning and waking at 4:30 due to FOUR molars coming in at SAME TIME, sweet B fell sound asleep on our stroll down to the beach.
from stroller to towel--sound asleep! I even managed to get him lathered in sunscreen :).
testing out the sand on the first day---hmmm...not so sure at first and then within seconds he began digging and dumping it all on the quilt! :)
