Brayden turned 1 week old yesterday. It is hard to believe that a week ago, we were in the hospital, I was in excruciating pain, and within minutes, this little bundle of joy entered our lives and we fell instantly in love! What a blessing he is to us already. In the last week, Brayden has become much more active in stretching his arms and legs, pushing off of daddy with his legs as he holds him, and incredibly alert. Yesterday I placed him in the swing, and turned the lights and sound on to "entertain" him while I did a few things in the kitchen. It was the sweetest thing to watch him stare and study the lights and the colorful fish dangling off to the side. Other things that fascinate Brayden:
1. the rotation of fan blades
2. Chris' glasses
3. Mommy's voice
4. the sound of the hairdryer---a wonder worker!!
We took our first family walk last night after dinner. It was VERY short, but so nice to be outside as it provided some time for Chris and I to connect and talk; B slept the whole way :).
