Brayden turns 2 months old today! Mommy and Daddy are celebrating by having pancake sandwiches (Chris' creation with eggs and bacon in between two pancakes), and Brayden is celebrating by sleeping in and swinging in his swing. We are also going to church tomorrow for the first time since his birth! Woo-hoo! I've been itching to be under some good teaching, but we were waiting for him to be a bit older and to be sleeping through the night. Now is the perfect time. We cannot believe how much bigger he is at 2 months than at one month and certainly than at birth! Of course Chris calls him our future linebacker and says he has "olympian thighs." We will visit the pediatrician on Monday for our 2 mo. well-check and I can't wait to hear how he's grown. But...he will also have his first round of immunizations and I CAN wait for that..not looking forward to the shots. Monday is also my official last day at home with him. I return to school on Tuesday for pre-planning and will have the task of dropping him off at the babysitter's that morning. Don't worry: I am already planning to leave off the mascara until after I get to school. My plan is to work Tues-Thurs and take Friday off so I can be with Brayden. We're being furloughed anyway, so what does it matter?! We'll see how that works. Since I don't have a single thing done yet for school, I will have to maximize my time Tu-Th and forget the socializing. (Translation: close my door). That's so hard to do after not seeing people all summer. Anyway, Happy 2 months Brayden! We sure do love you and thank Jesus for the gift you are in our lives!

Hey girl! How is the transition back to work going? Praying for it to go smoothly! Brayden is looking adorable, as usual and I'm so glad to hear that he is sleeping through the night! :)
