b has been sick with a sinus infection...now the second one in 2 weeks! the downside of this, other than he's so pitiful when he's sick, is that he is EXTREMELY clingy (which is not like him at all), and that we are home most of the time, instead of getting together with other friends to play. the upside is that because he is so clingy, we do have some sweet moments of mommy-son bonding that he has grown much too independent for when he feels his best! that said, he has been my little helper around the house. he helps unload the dishwasher even when it's still dirty, he helps with laundry and even changes the cycle if mommy's not watching, and he helps grocery shop by almost falling out of the cart to tell me he wants goldfish! he loves to open and close drawers, so he is very helpful to give me aluminum foil or wax paper even if i don't need it and occasionally he "mops" the floor by pulling the towel off the oven handle and pushing it across the floor. when the fridge is open he kindly pulls items out of the door and if the pantry door is left open, he "organizes" the shelves. o but what a sweet boy! i am grateful to be home with him and watch him change and develop so quickly! i wouldn't have it any other way.
