i LOVE pumpkins!! and i love pumpkin bread, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin coffee creamer...you name it! if it's pumpkin, i am sure to enjoy it :). well, when it came to decorate for fall, b noticed the pumpkins and scarecrows right away. he likes to touch the pumpkins, study them, admire them. i bought him a cheap little pumpkin pail with jack-o-lantern smile on it from target the other day and he has not stopped playing with it! he puts small toys in it and then takes them out...and it only cost $1!!
today we visited the pumpkin patch at a local church. my ideal is to go to one of the farms here in n ga where there are hayrides, a bonfire, miles of corn mazes, nad produce to purchase from the farm, but since chris and brayden both have been sick, i opted for the local church. pumpkins were spread all over the hillside! there were bumpy, ugly pumpkins, green, smooth pumpkins, small, large, medium, tiny, yellow, orange, all kinds of pumpkins!! b was fascinated and i loved seeing him climb over the pumpkins and happy to touch as many as in reach. he did not like, however, sitting on the hay bale with the scarecrows to have his picture made. ??? who knows about that one, other than he has become awfully clingy to me and until he realized there were pumpkins next to him that he could touch, he seemed bothered. you may see that in some of the pics. other than that, we had a great time. can you believe how long his hair is getting?! i love it!!
ps: he has taken a few steps this week!!! first 2 on tuesday and 2 again on thursday. i can't wait to see him take off!
